Met dit laadplein zet de luchthaven een belangrijke stap richting stillere en schonere luchtvaart en groeit zij uit tot een pionierslocatie voor elektrisch vliegen in Nederland \u00e9n Europa.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"573\" data-end=\"611\"><strong>Toekomstbestendige laadtechnologie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"612\" data-end=\"1023\">Het laadplein maakt het mogelijk om zowel elektrische vliegtuigen als elektrische voertuigen op het platform te laden. Dankzij universele CCS-snelladers en een EASA-gecertificeerde adapter kan dezelfde infrastructuur flexibel worden gebruikt, wat het systeem effici\u00ebnt en toekomstbestendig maakt. De eerste laadtesten zijn in augustus 2025 succesvol uitgevoerd, waarmee het laadstation volledig operationeel is.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1025\" data-end=\"1074\"><strong>Project Electrifly en landelijke samenwerking<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1075\" data-end=\"1705\">Het laadplein in Lelystad maakt deel uit van Project Electrifly, een samenwerking tussen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flevoland.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Provincie Flevoland<\/a>, Lelystad Airport en <a href=\"https:\/\/nrg2fly.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NRG2fly<\/a>. Het laadplein is gerealiseerd in samenwerking met <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heliox-energy.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Heliox<\/a> en wordt ontwikkeld door <a href=\"https:\/\/nrg2fly.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NRG2fly,<\/a> een pionier die werkt aan het eerste Europese laadnetwerk voor elektrische luchtvaart. Met een betrouwbaar en uitgebreid laadnetwerk worden elektrische vluchten mogelijk gemaakt en kan de technologie zich verder ontwikkelen en opschalen.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1075\" data-end=\"1705\">Doel is om Lelystad Airport te positioneren als innovatieve en toekomstbestendige luchthaven. Als centrale speler werkt de luchthaven mee aan de ontwikkeling van een landelijk dekkend netwerk van laadstations voor elektrische vliegtuigen, met de ambitie om dit op termijn op Europees niveau uit te rollen. Nederland leent zich hier perfect voor: met 17 luchthavens dicht bij elkaar kan relatief eenvoudig een netwerk ontstaan waarmee elektrische vliegtuigen het hele land kunnen doorkruisen.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1707\" data-end=\"1752\"><strong>Strategische positie van Lelystad Airport<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1753\" data-end=\"2213\">Lelystad Airport speelt hierin een cruciale rol. De luchthaven heeft \u00e9\u00e9n van de twee laadpleinen in Nederland waar zowel elektrische vliegtuigen als Ground Support Equipment kunnen worden opgeladen. Bovendien vindt 16% van al het General Aviation verkeer in Nederland plaats op Lelystad Airport, waarmee het de drukste General Aviation-locatie van het land is. Dit maakt de luchthaven een logisch knooppunt voor de elektrificatie van de Nederlandse luchtvaart.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2215\" data-end=\"2247\"><strong>Impact op onderwijs en regio<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2248\" data-end=\"2725\">Het initiatief heeft bovendien een belangrijke positieve impact op zowel het onderwijs als de regionale ontwikkeling. Het <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rocva.nl\/contact\/over-rocva\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ROC van Amsterdam-Flevoland<\/a> heeft een volledig elektrisch Pipistrel-vliegtuig op de luchthaven gestationeerd voor opleidingsdoeleinden, waardoor studenten praktijkervaring opdoen met duurzame vliegtuigtechniek. Hier werken bedrijven, onderwijs en overheden samen aan duurzame innovaties voor de luchtvaart van de toekomst. Het doel: vliegen schoner, stiller en slimmer maken \u00e9n nieuwe kansen cre\u00ebren voor de regio.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wat is LAIA?<\/strong><br \/>LAIA is een plek waar toekomstgerichte initiatieven kunnen worden ontwikkeld, getest en toegepast. Innovaties worden hier in de praktijk uitgeprobeerd, zodat we snel kunnen zien wat werkt. Dit helpt om een duurzamere luchtvaart bereikbaar te maken en zorgt voor nieuwe banen en opleidingen in Flevoland.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Waar werken we aan?<\/strong><br \/>Binnen LAIA richten we ons op drie belangrijke ontwikkelingen:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Duurzamere luchtvaart<\/strong><br \/>Bijvoorbeeld elektrisch vliegen, eVTOLs, drones en stillere vliegtechnieken.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Duurzame brandstoffen<\/strong><br \/>Zoals synthetische kerosine, waterstof en hybride oplossingen.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Digitale en autonome systemen<\/strong><br \/>Denk aan slimme technologie, robotisering en systemen die zelfstandig kunnen werken.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Wat maakt LAIA uniek?<br \/><\/strong>LAIA bestaat uit vier onderdelen die het innovatiegebied sterk maken:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Een levende proeftuin<\/strong><br \/>De luchthaven en omgeving worden gebruikt als testgebied. Hier kunnen nieuwe vliegtuigen, brandstoffen, drones en slimme systemen veilig worden uitgeprobeerd en opgeschaald.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Slimme energiehub<\/strong><br \/>Rond de luchthaven wordt gewerkt aan duurzamere energie: opwekken, opslaan en slim verdelen. Hierdoor kunnen bedrijven en de luchthaven in de toekomst meer elektrisch werken.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Toegepast onderwijs<\/strong><br \/>Studenten van mbo, hbo en universiteiten leren hier in de praktijk en werken mee aan echte innovatieprojecten. Zo worden zij voorbereid op de banen van morgen.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Een sterk verbonden regio<\/strong><br \/>LAIA werkt samen met bedrijven en steden in Flevoland en daarbuiten. Door kennis en ervaring te delen, kunnen innovaties sneller groeien en een bredere impact hebben.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Waarom is dit belangrijk?<br \/><\/strong>LAIA helpt om een duurzamere luchtvaart mogelijk te maken. Maar het levert onze regio ook veel op:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>nieuwe kennis en opleidingen<\/li>\n<li>samenwerking tussen bedrijven<\/li>\n<li>meer innovatie en werkgelegenheid<\/li>\n<li>een toekomstbestendige economie.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Samen bouwen aan de toekomst<br \/><\/strong>Overheden, bedrijven en onderwijs werken binnen LAIA nauw samen. Door kennis te bundelen en ruimte te bieden om te testen en te ontwikkelen, zorgen we ervoor dat Lelystad en Flevoland voorop blijven lopen in duurzame en innovatieve koers naar elektrisch vliegen<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"et_pb_toggle_content clearfix\"><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De Electric Flying Connection (EFC) is een netwerk van luchthavens, luchtvaartmaatschappijen, kennisinstellingen en bedrijven dat zich inzet voor de ontwikkeling en opschaling van elektrisch vliegen op regionale afstanden. Lelystad Airport is sinds mei 2024 lid van dit netwerk en draagt als partner actief bij aan de transitie naar een duurzamere luchtvaart.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Wat is EFC?<br \/><\/strong>De missie van EFC is om de toekomst van mobiliteit te veranderen door een sterk netwerk van organisaties op te bouwen die samen een complete waardeketen voor elektrisch vliegen realiseren. Daarbij gaat het om de ontwikkeling van nieuwe elektrische vliegtuigen en het ombouwen van bestaande toestellen, maar ook om het transformeren van regionale luchthavens tot mobiliteitshubs die draaien op duurzame energie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Daarnaast werkt EFC aan de aanleg van moderne laadinfrastructuur, het opstellen van internationale standaarden en het stimuleren van elektrische vliegscholen en luchtvaartopleidingen. Door kennis en ervaring uit de elektrische auto-industrie te benutten en nauw samen te werken met overheden, toezichthouders en onderwijsinstellingen, wil EFC elektrisch vliegen uit de pioniersfase halen en klaarmaken voor grootschalige toepassing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Met deze missie bouwt EFC aan een innovatief vervoerssysteem voor de toekomst \u2013 en Lelystad Airport is er trots op hierin een actieve rol te spelen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Rol van Lelystad Airport<br \/><\/strong>Lelystad Airport levert als test- en leeromgeving een belangrijke bijdrage. This will allow EBS to commence electric bus transportation in and around Lelystad starting from December 10, 2023, replacing the current diesel buses.<\/p>\n<p>EBS and Lelystad Airport entered this partnership because EBS couldn\u2019t find a suitable location for its charging station due to capacity constraints on the energy grid. Therefore, Lelystad Airport is willing to provide a portion of its capacity to enable electric bus transportation in the region in a timely manner.<\/p>\n<p>EBS is currently in the process of installing the charging station near the new passenger terminal.<\/p>\n<p>This collaboration contributes to the region and province\u2019s interests and aligns perfectly with Lelystad Airport\u2019s sustainability strategy. To prepare the airport for commercial traffic, the runway was extended and air traffic control as well as an instrument landing system were introduced. The airfield ground lighting on the runway, taxiways and apron areas were upgraded with CEDD airfield ground lighting technology.<\/p>\n<p>The fast response times of the CEDD technology, with feedback within 500 ms, make the airport operations faster and safer than with traditional airfield lighting technology. This initiative was a collaboration between Electric Flying Connection (EFC) and E-flight Academy with KLM as a partner.<\/p>\n<p>The goal was to explore what electric flying means for logistics and the required infrastructure. Lelystad Airport\u2019s central location, accessibility, and high-quality electrical infrastructure played a significant role in this event.<\/p>\n<p>With this exciting event, Lelystad Airport contributed to insights into the electrical infrastructure and recharging of electric aircraft, which is necessary for electric aviation. They fit our ambition to generate sustainable energy on our own site. More and more will be added in the coming years. This makes the solar panels a good addition to wind and ground energy.<\/p>\n<p>The General Aviation terminal has a PV installation of 90 solar panels. By signing a Memorandum of Understanding, Eindhoven Airport, Groningen Airport Eelde, Lelystad Airport, Maastricht Aachen Airport, Rotterdam The Hague Airport, Royal Schiphol Group, along with the ASL Group, LUCY, KLM, Evia Aero, Maeve, Vaeridion, VoltAero, the Dutch Railways (Nederlandse Spoorwegen), Deloitte, M3 Consultancy, NACO, and Royal NLR have agreed to collectively pave the way for the introduction of electric regional aviation.<\/p>\n<p>The partners aim to develop passenger processes and align operational airport procedures together. text_line_height=\"31px\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<\/p><p><strong>Lelystad Airport is het grootste algemene luchtvaartvliegveld in Nederland, met meer dan 85.000 jaarlijkse vliegbewegingen. Het biedt ruimte aan regionale vluchten, trainingsvluchten, priv\u00e9vluchten, helikoptervluchten en zakelijke luchtvaart.<\/strong><\/p><p>Veel van deze vluchten zijn kortere afstanden en geschikt voor batterij-elektrische of waterstof-aangedreven vliegtuigen. Naarmate de technologie vordert en de actieradius verbetert, zullen steeds meer vluchten gebruik maken van deze duurzame energiebronnen.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><h3>Duurzaamheidsdoelstellingen voor 2030 en 2050<\/h3><p>Als onderdeel van de Schiphol Group streeft Lelystad Airport naar duurzaamheidsdoelstellingen voor 2030 en 2050. Royal Schiphol Group heeft als doel 's werelds meest duurzame en hoogwaardige luchthavens te exploiteren. In 2030 streven ze ernaar om zero-emissie en zero-waste luchthavens te zijn voor hun eigen operaties. Voor de internationale luchtvaart is het doel om in 2050 netto nul koolstofemissies te bereiken, met een tussenliggend doel om de koolstofemissies tegen 2030 te verlagen tot het niveau van 2005 of lager.<\/p><p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=\"https:\/\/staging.lelystadairport.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Lelystad-Aiport-E-Mobility-Hub-Banner--1024x533.jpg\" alt=\"Lelystad Aiport E-Mobility Hub\" title_text=\"Lelystad Aiport E-Mobility Hub Banner\" _builder_version=\"4.20.0\" _module_preset=\"default\" border_radii=\"on|18px|18px|18px|18px\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.20.0\" _module_preset=\"default\" text_font=\"Lato||||||||\" text_text_color=\"#000000\" text_font_size=\"13pt\" text_line_height=\"31px\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<\/p><p>\u00a0<strong>Om onze duurzaamheidsdoelstellingen te bereiken, richten we ons op drie projecten:<\/strong><\/p><h3>De roadmap voor de duurzame luchthaven 2030<\/h3><p><strong>We analyseren en evalueren alternatieve energiebronnen door het huidige energieverbruik te beoordelen en kansen voor verbetering te identificeren.<\/strong> De roadmap zal ons begeleiden bij het cre\u00ebren van een emissievrije luchthaven. Het zal ook het belang van een circulaire economie benadrukken en sterke samenwerking met lokale gemeenschappen bevorderen.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><h3>Visie elektrische luchtvaart<\/h3><p><strong>Vluchten binnen een bereik van 500 km zijn ideaal om op batterijen te worden aangedreven.<\/strong> Naarmate de technologie vordert, zal het vliegbereik toenemen en de vraag naar elektrische energie groeien. Op Lelystad Airport hebben we een solide basis ge\u00efdentificeerd om diensten te ontwikkelen die duurzame, op batterijen aangedreven luchtvaart ondersteunen. We hebben voldoende ruimte om onze zonne-energieproductie uit te breiden voor een batterijopslagfaciliteit, waardoor effici\u00ebnte distributie van groene energie naar vliegtuiglaadfaciliteiten mogelijk is via een gelijkstroomnetwerk.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><h3>Visie waterstofluchtvaart<\/h3><p><strong>De Flevoland-regio is ambitieus in haar bijdrage aan de Nederlandse energietransitie.<\/strong> We erkennen het potentieel van de provincie om een sleutelrol te spelen in de productie, transport, opslag, conversie en toepassing van groene waterstof. Er is een intentieverklaring (MoU) ondertekend tussen de overheid en verschillende regionale bedrijven, waardoor de samenwerking wordt bevorderd in diverse marktsegmenten, waaronder luchtvaart, mobiliteit, logistiek, energie, maritiem en landbouw.
